It had been a bit of a rough day at work and while Bod had thought about stopping into the event in the park, he'd decided against it. When he appeared at Kate's door, there was flour on his shirt (and neck but he didn't know that) and he looked tired but he managed a smile for her and her dress anyway.
Kate looked up when he showed up, her gaze attracted by the movement. Not that there was anything all that interesting on her screen currently, anyway.
"Hey," she said, in turn managing a faint smile for him and his... slightly messy shirt. "Is that flour or do you have a sloppy coke habit I don't know about?"
"Hmm?" He rubbed his tired eyes and then looked down. "Oh. It's flour, yes. I was helping the staff with a cleanup and things got a bit messy. I didn't notice it ended up on my shirt. Hmm."
