Taking a break

I'm taking a break from the ongoing work on my bedroom. Today I'm excavating the south wall, which is largely headboard. God, what an accumulation! Still, I've found a book I've been wanting to reread, a box I'm going to stash greeting cards in (I keep running across them, and would like to corral them all in one place), and have revealed yet more

Isn't it? That blue it's trimmed in is my favorite color. I figure black skirt or pants and I've got about ten tops I could wear under it, so it's versatile in that respect. My only quibble is that it has NO shape---there isn't even a hint of a waist---but maybe once I have some cash flow I can find a tailor to nip it in a little.

Thanks! My bed is still six inches deep in STUFF, but I've managed to get the window behind my headboard closed all the way for the first time in a while, which will certainly cut down on my heating costs.

Heck, I'm happy: I found what was wedging my big window open---I've been trying to close it since November; I couldn't get it down the last inch. Removed a jar of very expired vitamins: Problem solved.

Today I made progressin my hall. Cleared the clutter from in front of the so-called linen closet and actually delved into the closet itself. Wow. Found shit I didn't even know I *had*.

Mb is a QVCaholic, so I know they're a QVC brand, but I never paid that much attention. I'm planning to include it in my ensemble for church this Sunday, although I'll probably shed it early on, as they tend to keep it about five degrees too warm in there year 'round.
