I would fail! at being a Winchester. I went out and dug up the old post for the missing mailbox. It isn't like excavating a grave, it was maybe a foot and a half deep. Took me all of twenty-five minutes, not exactly a marathon

I used to wear a lot of black for that reason, but it was only contributing to my general depression.

The best response I ever heard to the "Black takes off ten pounds" theory was when sbjb said, "So if I wore four pieces of black clothing, would I look forty pounds thinner? No? Then fuck it, I'm wearing purple!"
