I've got a dandy little headache, probably brought on by the fuck-uped-ness of my sleep schedule. Didn't sleep well Friday night, took a prolonged afternoon nap yesterday which had me up til 5AM, then got rung up 15 minutes before my alarm was due to go off ( Read more... )

Well, you certainly didn't look sleep deprived at church- you looked fresh as a daisy!
FYI- I've now got an addiction to those caramel sea-salt candies from Target. Was going to go restock after church but didn't feel like driving to MI simply for a bag of candy (that I don't really need!) Publix has every flavor under the sun except that one.
Hope the week goes well and a new fence is in place PDQ.

My philosophy is, the worse I feel, the better I should look to compensate. The top is an old favorite, the pants are newish.

I'm sorry you missed hospitality---it went pretty well. I gave the leftovers to SA, who was pleased. There was just about one portion left, which would've been yours, if you'd stayed. But anyway, it was good to see you, I'm glad you're back!

Well, I had some errands to run and we had eaten that same fried chicken on Fri night and yesterday. ha ha I know SA LOVES fried chicken- glad she got the leftovers. Looks like you had plenty of food!
Thanks for welcoming me back. I never really felt like I was away but as I had mentioned before, there were some there in previous years that did not make me feel welcome. I've also learned to not let things bother me the way they used to. Some of it is age and some of it is medication. ha ha
Can't wait to see the new fence! Take a nap! I am about to. :)

I did take a nap, just a little one. Still have a headache---probably my glasses. I'm at the point where I'm almost ready to camp out on her doorstep. I know, it's the lab, not her that's slow, and that it's because I've got such a monster of a prescription, but OMG---NEED GLASSES!

Oh, it gets better---I signed the contract and made a downpayment this afternoon---and two hours later, got a call back from the contractor saying the permitting people wouldn't release the site plan to him, so *I* have to call them. NOT too pleased, and if it costs me money or gas, I'll be downright pissed.
