I'm so sorry to hear that your friend died. Through you we all got to know her a little bit too.
It's funny you know, in time the bad gets smoothed over, in memory, while the good still shines on. I suspect she'll shine in your memory for years to come.
This isn't a recent picture, but yes, she was pretty. Before I "got fashion" (like some folks get religion), she used to harrangue me about my clothes and how badly I dressed. Mind you, even after I converted to style, we still didn't have the same taste, but she still had her own style.
Thank you, honey. This picture brought tears to my eyes when T sent it to me...she'd been going downhill for so long that I'd lost sight of this Susie, the one who primped in front of her mirror before sasharying forth to do whatever she was up to. That's the woman I'm going to miss.
Although it *still* irks me that she had that Elaine person as a bridesmaid instead of yours truly. *glares* Oh well, at least I got a good buzz at the open bar.
We'll have to get together for a memorial canasta game. Wanna hear something ironic? This past Wednesday, I picked up some nested bowls with card suites on them, thinking "Belated Xmas present, good for canasta party. ". Timing.

At least you missed the canoe trip with her Dad. I told my Mom that story last night, and I think she peed herself while I was telling it. ::giggle::
We'll all miss her.
