I know, I know, turkey is traditional, but there's only one of me. If I want turkey, I'll run out an get a package of Hillshire Farms lunch meat, which is already cooked and sliced, and even allowing for to and fro and shopping time, it's still much faster than cooking a whole bird

I'm off work until the morning of Nov. 30, when I'll disappear into Advent madness for an entire month. We're having Thanksgiving with our sister-in-law down near Atlanta. She's fixing a ham too, and I've volunteered to make a pumpkin pie and a chocolate cake. Everybody goes wild over anything made with Aldi cake mix. :)
