I dropped by my bank this afternoon to take care of a little business. The temp being in the low 60s, I wore a long-sleeved grey and black top with black pants, grey shoes and the grey cloche hat I posted a pic of on Tuesday (but with a different pin ( Read more... )

The teller in question is fairly young, I'd guess mid-20s, and I imagine to him, countries in Europe equate with states over here. Not that they do IRL, but to an untraveled young person---?

Now, see, I've always thought of "loden" as a dark green. Am I wrong?

Ahh! Thanks for the clarification. This is a firm synthetic felt...I don't think any actual sheep were sheared in the making of my chapeau. Ersatz loden at best!
