I have the sample ballot printed out and scrutinized and will go after work. (We have a red-hot governor's race going on.) Meant to go vote before work, but the combination of a wicked head cold and the smashed knee was making me feel as though getting into the office would a feat all by itself.
Yeah, the races here have been getting progressively uglier. The way the asks and counter-ads have been going back and forth, you fully believe that both candidates have made crossroads deals and are going to start spewing pea-soup the moment they've taken the oath of office. In other words, business as usual.
Got the pin a million years ago when I went yard-sailing faithfully every weekend. I can even remember the house and the neighborhood. He's such a jauty little guy that I try to remember to trot him out during election season. .
