I haven't mastered the self-portrait yet---it doesn't help that I'm squinting into the afternoon sun---but here's a snap taken in my front yard on a recent sunny day, featuring moi in a beige sundress, a playful rafia hat, and a necklace I made for myself to complement that and a couple other specific warm-weather ensembles.

The joys of Florida---it's averaging 90F in the afternoon and summer has just gotten started. August will be roasting.

Thank you! Granted, I've had the dress and hat both for years and years, but according to something I read about fashion trends recently, "nude" shades are IN right now, so I felt cute in it.

I think I read that same magazine at the hair salon. For the longest time my wardrobe seemed to consist of black, white and shades of gray, and I've just started wearing brighter colors. *sigh* Always behind the curve here.
