Deep breaths and have fun!
I am sure he still secretly pines for you- that's what I always tell myself about former beau's. "They must be sorry that they let me get away."
Look at it as a mini-vacation. Beats sitting home and will likely make a good story to post.
Bon voyage!!!

No, more like, I've finally arrived at where he was all along---"just" good friends.

But yes, vacation with friends and shopping.

Enjoy the good parts and practice deep breathing through the bad ones. And rejoice for your friends getting married.

I am going to love to see photos of you looking beautiful!

I *am* happy for them...will do my best not to let my issues creep out. They are, after all, MY issues.

I still haven't tried the dress on, although it IS finally finished. There's some puckering because the top layer with the faux sequins is drapier than the bodice underneath, but it's mostly under my arm/toward the back. And really, who's going to be looking that closely?

I just hope we get to the hotel before 9 and the rest of the party doesn't outvote me. Honestly? I don't care if the TV doesn't get turned on the rest of the trip, as long as I get to see my SPN....

One thing I know---it's a Ramada, not a Winchester-type dive.

Perfectly understandable---you've got a LOT on your mind right now. I hope the move is going well, and that the new locale is the starting point of happier times.

I'm getting ready to start posting about the weekend, although that may take more then one post, because OMG, it was a very FULL three days. Wow.

There's no place like home!
