Let's see...I've got my second load of laundry in progress, done all the dishes I pulled out of my room last night, and scheduled a canasta date at Schnauzerland. (S called out of the blue---last time I saw her was July 4th, when she was massively out of it. Today she was rational and coherent---and I'm glad, because as aggrevating as she can be, ( Read more... )

Eh, progress on one side of one room, but it's got to start somewhere. I figure that my bedroom and my office are the two rooms I spend the most time in, and the bedroom is a less complicated starting point. At least the TV Guide isn't so old that the article is about season one of "Dark Shadows," which is where I thought you were going with that sentence! ha ha Childhood flashback.

Maybe you can entice BC to help you move the hinge? If the door itself still looks okay, then moving the hinge to where there's good wood for the screws to grab hold of should fix it without buying a new one.

I feel for you with having to be Miss Fix-It with a bad shoulder. I about killed myself the last three weeks moving furniture around the office and climbing ladders.
