I am gleeful, squeeful and doing Snoopy dances. One of my co-workers, a very sweet lady heretofore known as The Angel In the Next Row has commiserated with me about my situation, lack of a/c, back pain, etc., and today she told me she has a window a/c unit for me. I seem to remember getting along just fine without it when I was growing up in NYC, but Florida is a whole 'nother kettle of (stewed) fish.

Thankfully, both problems are about 48 hours away from resolution. And thanks for your concerned thoughts---I honestly believe that the collective focus on my problems has brought about a favorable response from the Universe.

Don't be surprised if no one hears from me next Wednesday---I'll be hibernating like a polar bear, stretched out on my bed with the a/c cranked to "arctic" and a big blissed-out smile on my face.
