I just happened to check my schedule around 10 PM---I was actually looking up vacation time I have scheduled, because unless we have training, my schedule doesn't change except for things like break times, and that's on a day-by-day basis---and some genius had me

Whew! I'm glad Sweetie Boss was on top of things. No point in working another day to pour the whole day's check into the gas tank.

That's part of it. Mostly it's things like, Monday is my day with Kat, that's kinda carved in stone at this point, and since there's no telling how much longer I'm going to have her, that's really important to me. There's also CUUPs one night a month, assorted TV things I don't wanna have to set timers for, plus having two consecutive days off. *IF* I was going to give up a day, it would be Wednesday, NOT Monday.

St. P's would like for me to work shorter daily hours and work on Fridays too, but I put my foot down on that long ago. The Padre's bad to not show up until nearly lunchtime and I need the extended time to get what he needs done while he's present. I've tried mind-reading and I'm really bad at it. :D And there's a reason why it's called St. Procrastination: when I did work Fridays, they'd put everything off until the last freaking minute. Now that they don't have Friday to fall back on, they're a lot better about hitting deadlines.
