The Watchmen is absolutely phenomenal. I've seen it twice (so far!), and I'm just in awe. JDM does a great badass, and the rest of the cast is pretty stellar. Or maybe I'm just easy....

WOW! That is great. I really wondered why no one tried to get the baby out after he shot the girl. This just made total sense and I you caught the voice of the Comedian (at least what I saw in the movie) absolutely perfectly.

*grin* Yeah, it seemed to me that she dropped like a rock, no screaming/moaning/sobbing, just BANG!dead. So the baby wouldn't be damaged, and a fast c-section ought to save the kid's life...plus, I'm a big afficianado of vengeance dramas (You killed my mother. Prepare to die....) so this was a plot bunny with whipped cream and sprinkles.
