I mean, I know the cycle gradually slows down and then stops, but how common is it to be gone for 7 freakin' months, only to start back up again?
It seems to be reasonably common, but all I'll say is that it doesn't always slow down (this year my cycle has been anything between 23 days and 6 days, so sometimes it gets more frequent... and has been for the last two f**king years for me).
All I can say is welcome to my world, except that despite staring my 50th birthday in the face in less than two weeks, mine still plagues me, to the extent of becoming more frequent rather than less... Eeek! I'd definitely rather be me than you. Last year, I had two cycles, the year before, three. Or maybe four. Anyway, it's a far cry from the days when I could plot events months in advance because I was THAT regular!
I suppose it could've been worse, like during the run-up to Christmas. Although if it had started last Sunday, it would be tapering off before I had to go back to work tomorrow.
