My spouse and I got up early as well. We were at the polls at 6:55 am and got out around 7:30. Not too bad at all.
I, too, am praying that Obama wins. We need change and how. I've never seen so many African Americans at our polling place- that is good.

**Different subject--when I see you on Sunday, will you bring that little casserole dish and plate that I had put the food in?? I use them for "to go" meals.

Likewise, there was a diverse turnout at my precinct too. And they were pretty open about who they were voting for, too. ;-)

I also voted early and took my kid down the same day to vote. I had jury duty last month, so I figured I earned that privilege. He was required to register for the Selective Service this year, so he by God also earned it.

Even though we've had very little money for a long time, we gave some to Obama's campaign last month. It was well worth eating a lot of tuna-rice casserole to be able to do it.
