I'm a mess

I don't know what I did to my shoulder---slept on it wrong, I guess---but it hurt badly enough this afternoon that I could hardly move. Finally managed to pop my arm, which helped, took plenty of anti-inflamatories, and hopefully it won't get worse/recur tomorrow ( Read more... )

Try alternating ice and heat on it...

Thanks! (What I really wish I had was a virile Swedish masseur named Guntar, but that's life....)

I also recommend alternating heat and ice and keeping up the anti-inflammatories for a couple of days. Whenever I've thrown my shoulder out, it also helps to wear it in a sling around the house for a day or two just so I don't accidentally raise my arm above shoulder height or pick up something heavy before it's had a chance to calm down.

Sounds like a great TV night. I meant to watch Sons of Anarchy and completely forgot to set the TV to record it.

I'm being very careful with it; it's not complaining too loudly this morning, so hopefully shifting gears to get to work won't kill me....

According to IMDb, FX is showing the first ep again tomorrow night at 11 PM. Its usual night is Wednesday, which works for me as it's one of my standard evenings off.

in Sons of Anarchy, the son is Charlie Hunnam, a British actor who first came to fannish notice playing Nathan (the teen) in Queer as Folk (UK). aside from that, he's been in a few movies (most recently Children of Men) and TV series (mostly British), but not tons that I've seen.

You're more informed than I. *bows* Anyway, I enjoy the show and am reccing it as good, gritty fun.

Hubby was watching the marathon at the nursing home and we ended up watching Sports Medicine, which is H/W slash HEAVEN and then the beginning of Cursed together.

The only bad thing is realizing the deterioration of the show since those days. :(

Hope you're shoulder is feeling better. Hubby is in sympathy as his is still hurting as well. He'd share his drugs with you if he could.
