Partly for halfamoon, partly since it's Black History Month, partly just because I love her, I present to you the story of Amanda Waller's arrest and her glorious rise from the ashes, smacking Batman around along the way.

Lots of images, most of them old scans, which makes reading some of the text difficult.

This post is love. The more I hear about Suicide Squad the more I want to read it. I love when people outsmart Batman, just for a change of pace. ;)

BTW- what issue does Catman beat Bronze Tiger in? Is it recent, because I've never heard of this?

I'm sad that Waller's more recent appearances have portrayed her as a blind patriot that is easily outsmarted. In Suicide Squad you see her disobeying and tricking her government superiors on a regular basis.

The Catman vs. Bronze Tiger fight is in Secret Six 17, in which Simone displays the fact she knows nothing whatsoever about martial arts.
