Choral symphony

Danny and I just came from a performance of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 by Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Chorus. What can I say? Invigorating, exhausting, stellar. The general thinking is that the Choral Fantasy was the piece where Beethoven was testing some items he would use in the 9th. So it sounds clumsy and awkward because it was a warm-up piece. ~ Knitterguy
