What a stunning view!

As you say, retirement from singing need not be permanent. I am taking a break from acting since I don't have time to do that and college. I fully plan to go back to acting at some point down the line.

Neat! I see the pelicans you mention on lakes from time to time, including Upper Red Lake in northern Minnesota, and somewhere in southern Minnesota.

I forgot you live in Minnesota. We actually considered travelling that way via Chicago (it is shorter), but in the end we opted out of worrying about border crossings.

Can't say I blame you. I've heard reports of simply execrable behavior from the US border guards toward visitors.
