Dream: strange creatures at the cottage

I set my clock alarm to wake me at the usual time this morning. The volume was somewhat iffy, and I didn't wake until the 6:00 news came on. It felt so delicious, having a free weekend ahead of me. I contemplated getting up and starting my routine early, but drifted back to sleep.

I was at the cottage, feeling unusually happy. While rooting around

I wonder what it means. It felt like a sign of good luck for my daughter, and I was wanting that for her.

I've been looking into owl meanings. It can mean a range of things, of course, but I prefer this one: That owls signify a comfort with mystery -- witchiness. :)

Great dream! I dream about my mom all the time, Van. But she's never healthy like that. Oh, how I wish. About the synesthesia, I also see emotions in color. And people. Not just graphemes. :D

I was walking downtown at dusk a few weeks ago, waiting to cross the street, when a happy memory came to me and suddenly everything lost the purple-blue twilight colour and turned a rich yellow. It lasted about a second, and was too vivid to be a trick of light. It felt intrinsically related to the memory and my happiness about it. I can't even remember what the memory was. The colour did not startle or distress me, but seemed part of, and synergistic with, my happiness. It was like having a glimpse of another level of experiencing things. I meant to ask you about it, but forgot. Then this dream reminded me. In the dream I seemed to remember more than one incident, but now I am only aware of one.

Apparently I couldn't remember this experience even this morning. This afternoon I was downtown and stood on the same corner, and now I remember what I wanted to tell you! It's very strange.
