I would be interested to hear a story of someone who thought he was gay and ended up falling in love with a woman that is completely devoid self-loathing and proselytizing. It's not that I don't think anything imaginable is possible in the human continuum, it's just that I think these people are full of shit.

I notice they offer "The 10 Most Effective Ways To Reach the Homosexual", a 2 CD Set and Book for a mere $39.00. Hell, I can reach do that on LJ for almost free!
Wust what the country needed, more whack-job x-tians who think that your tax deductable(!) donate to their business ministry will allow them to find more guys as delusional as Bennett. I laughed at brunobt's assessment of his teeth! I'm straight but I thought a simular thing (which was "if this guy was gay, he's still gay"

Yeah, this ex-gay looks like he hasn't had enough football therapy. But really, the Time Magazine article reported on an Exodus retreat where the guys all played football while the girls sat indoors in a discussion circle.
As for reaching the homosexual, Exodus is a great place to meet guys.

As for reaching the homosexual, Exodus is a great place to meet guys. ROFL, I'm not that intent on meeting homosexuals! OTOH I suppose that if you had the misfortune to be dragged into a shithole such as this, you'd be sure to meet at least a few other guys who weren't really getting with the programme.
Exodus sounds like hell on earth to me. I don't give a rat's ass about football, and I sure as hell don't need anyone trying to "fix" my sexual orientation.

More than a few. The success rate in Exodus is something in the neighbourhood of 10 per cent. But the failures I saw were not people happily returning to "the gay lifestyle," they were people becoming too conflicted and depressed to continue the support group.

In all seriousness, Exodus never discouraged nonsexual physical contact between men, in my experience.
