Very nice painting my dear! I love the softness of Sam's lips and the deep shadows on Gadreel's face.
Don't worry about doing art for fics - my view as both author and artist is that part of the fun of collaborating is to see what images your words put into someone else's mind. But if you are concerned about interpreting a scene that appeals to you as an artist, you can always check little details with the author - eg if they've written an OC you can ask if they think the character is short or tall, has blue eyes or whatever.
Re drafts - I think for art you just need to show you've made a start and are likely to finish the piece/s by your posting date. The rules for each Bang are slightly different so you just check those to see how many pieces of art you are signing up to produce and as long as you do the minimum you will be fine.
First of all, thank you for your comment about the painting.
Second of all, thank you very much for taking the time to dispel all those doubts I had. I think I hadn’t seen it from the author’s angle, I mean, that he/she could be interested to see what his/her words put into somebody else’s mind.
I checked again, and the minimum number of art pieces for the J2 big bang is just one. I think I can handle that without much trouble ^_^.
Your art never ceases to amaze me. The way you flawlessly combine colors, textures, and lighting is stunning. This is a perfect detail capture of how vulnerable and afraid Sam is compared to Gadreel's cunning and cold manipulation. I adore the two different expressions.
Thank you very much for your comment. The contrast between Sam and Gadreel's expressions is exactly what I wanted to show. Also I used a different technique to paint this picture, and I liked how it turned out. I think I'm going to stick with it. Thanks again for your comment :)
