That didn't even scratch the surface. Classes are two 8-hour days each month for a year. We do a little yoga, we sit and listen to yoga philosophy for hours, and we learn techniques about how to teach yoga. I am sure you would enjoy the class and with your back issues, I bet yoga would be great for you. Well...it is physically good for everyone. If you are interested, you can read some here: http://www.kundaliniyoga.org/classes.html. I don't study kundalini yoga, but I think it looks interesting. Kundalini people are really into their form of study and publish whole courses on the net.
Our current two main text books are "Light on Yoga" by BKS Iyengar, and "Heart of Yoga" by TKV Desikachar. Heart of Yoga is mostly the philosophy and contains the yoga sutras of Patanjali. You could look at a copy of that in the bookstore and see what you think. (See, I say I am not in it to teach, but the natural teacher in me always pokes through, hehe.)

I had been wondering how you were doing. Glad the answer is, "well."
