Congratulations! Thanks for letting us know how you're doing. I'm glad you have the support you need, and I'm sorry you had to go through so much trauma, but I'm glad that your baby girl makes it all worth it.

Thank you! My surgery actually went pretty amazing and my recovery has been the same. I was so fortunate to have such a smooth pregnancy and delivery. Now we just have a lifetime of worry bringing her up. =)

My mom told you it'd be okay! AND she went through the same thing almost 27 years ago! :p

I'm really happy for you, though. I remember awhile back you mentioning how you didn't think you'd be able to have kids because of whatever circumstances. So when you informed that you were pregnant, it was pretty awesome. Now that you have her, and she turned out beautifully, I'm just even more happy for you.

Now I will live vicariously through you (and my other friends) since I still have zero desire to have any of my own (especially after reading this post :p).

She is my super baby. I told the nurses at the hospital how they told me I probably couldn't have children when I was younger. I showed them! =) Now that it's all said and done, I'm actually GLAD I had the c-section ( ... )
