This is my new apartment. I've got some loverly pix of some of the problems...
The first two show you what the blinds look like closed. The decorative blue on the top right of the second picture was installed to block out the light & to give me some privacy. The new curtains, brought to the apartment 6 days after I moved in, are mostly transparent ( Read more... )

But yes...the part that I especially like (besides the bulb in the fan) is climbing up on my rickety step-stool to pin up the blanket every morning, and unpin it every evening.
I'm building up for a phone call with the manager this morning. Wonder if he'll answer...
