NBC is refusing to buy episodes of this because of the strike's effect on the tie-in, but they claim that it may return as a companion to Volume 3 as opposed to Volume 2...

They can't be sure they will have enough episodes to last until after the strike and buy them time to make more without a significant scheduling hiccup...
