You Know You're Addicted to vdB When ...
OMG! Yes, we're going there! How can we not! We're crazy!fangirls.
So, alas, Juliette and I were talking last night and this idea came up and we wrote a handful of reasons you know you're addicted to van der Bass. Please please please!!! suggest more. There are plenty of reasons why we're crazy. *cough* Obsessed *cough* in love with this family.
So, like everything else in this community, any grouping of vdB is allowed to be included in a reason.
You know you're addicted to van der Bass when...
01. the sight of a purple or red tie makes you tear up
02. when someone dedicates a video to you *whistles*
03. when people point to you to describe why they're so awesome to disbelievers *cough*
04. when you think of flowers - orchids, carnations, lily-of-the-valley - and you think of them *shifty eyes*
05. when you heard Kelly was pregnant and wanted Lily to be preggers
06. when you think of 'baby' and Lexi comes to mind *points to Jules*
07. when you cry at the idea of a vdB+Blair dinner because we can never get a Blair/Bart scene
08. when you think of 'brunch' and think of how Basses do brunches and then you want to kick Josh for not SHOWING us the LCE brunch that was posted on the GG blog
09. when you read/hear 'adoption' and think of LC
10. when you remember Jenny's crackhead theory that Lily would pick Hamsters over Charles and you want to laugh in her face, beat her with her mascara and tell her to get the fuck out of the apartment
11. when the word 'brunch' makes you think of little black suits that get their own seat on private jets
12. when "there's insurance" makes you think of LC and how perfect they fit as Mommy and Son
13. when PI's make you think of Eric and how in awe he is of Chuck
14. when incestuous jokes between S&C make you awwwwwww
15. when you take those incestuous jokes as a sign that all is well between them
16. when you think ChuckandBlair and you think, so she belongs to the family
17. when you're all for Blair babysitting (and tutoring, how else did he get so smart?) Eric when he was baby while Lily was away and S was partying with Georgie
18. when you were actually glad when S got in jail because you knew Chuck was gonna be on the rescue
19. when your dream (non-BC) wedding has Bart Bass handing Serena over to her future husband *coughnatiecough*
20. when you think of 'bath time' and think of SC and grin like crazy because you know Chuck loves his sis
21. when you pour orange juice, you giggle because Serena stole Chuck's
22. when you use hand lotion, you wonder where Chuck is because he loves stealing it (or just S's), and you love the way he puts it on; it's super sexy
23. when even months later, 2x13 can still leave you completely devastated and bawling like a baby
24. when you've watched 2x13 at least three times a day for a solid month after it aired and you're still sobbing
25. when there is no human way you can romantically 'ship SC because they're brother and sister, goddammit
26. when the thought of waffles makes you throw up a bit in distaste
27. when you think, 'Chuck will approve' over the way Blair broke out Eric from the Ostroff center
28. when you giggle for hours when Lily brought Rufus to Eleanor's party in 1x06 to make Bart jealous
29. when you want Serena and Chuck to declare their love for each other..as siblings because you know it's true
