I'm unhappy with the structure of #25, too. I want all those themes in there, but I feel it doesn't flow. If you've any suggestions to that end, I'm open to hearing them. ♥

Awww, thank you. That really means a lot to me, that I could write a child-Mal and still make him feel like it's him.

I thought that the ranch hands had to be included -- I feel that they were so instrinsical to Mal's growing up. I'm glad that it worked for you. I had feared, a little, that people would be like, "Who is Teddy? And Carl? WTF?" lol

As for #11 . . . it's good it resonates. I tried to tie some things to the future of Mal we know, and I think that's one of those things that just sort of . . . works. Thank you again.

I hadn't ever heard of this type of challenge, and man, I'm knocked out. This makes me ache in all the best ways for Mal. ::sigh:: I can see it all clear as day, even the parts that I'd never envisioned before, even thought about before. Exquisite, and I'm really, really looking forward to the next 25!

The 50-sentences challenge is a lot of fun. I did a pairing one via 1sentence a while ago, and this 1character community recently started. It's a great excercise and a lot of fun. I'm really glad you enjoyed these first 25 sentences. I hope the second 25 come out as good. LOL
