Brilliant! I love this story so much. I love the interaction between Agni and Jared, especially because I always wanted my own monster. It would've made life so interesting...

Jared is such a complex character; you get the feeling that his stability is the result of some pretty hard work on his part! I'm looking forward to finding out more about his & Agni's falling out.

ah, I remember reading the first chapter of this months ago, and I couldn't find it again. But now I've found it, and read chapter 2 and 3 and have fallen in love with the entire thing all over again!!
I love that Jared handles everything so casually, and Agni sounds like the perfect monster underneath your bed.
I would love to read more :D

He's so nonchalant about the whole thing that it would make me totally frustrated to be talking to him if I was freaking out. "He thinks he’ll kill some poor unsuspecting puppy on the way home to make up for it," I don't think it quiet works that way...
