Never Too Much
Honor smiled when she heard the soft gasp from her friend. She'd spend hours making sure that she was up early enough to decorate the kitchen. For as much as they were Honor's apartments, the kitchen was as much Glash's for how much she used it. As well, for how much she loved spending time there.
"Honor?" Her tone was unsure as Glash took in the kitchen. A good portion of the room had been decorated in flowers, all the lovely colors that bloomed in spring. There were also two batches of her favorite cupcakes made and waiting on the counter. What had Glash blink was the wrapped box that sat on the table.
Honor merely grinned at her. "I love making birthdays special."
"This is all for me?" The question is asked as she moved to the box. With living in court away from her family, it had been a long time since anyone had done something special for her birthday.
Honor nodded. "Of course. And I planned a salmon dinner tonight with your furry friend."
Glash gave a happy squeek and hugged Honor tightly. "Thank you."
She's hugged back just as tightly before Honor urged Glash to her box. "Now. Open your present and let's get this birthday started."
Glash laughed and moved to do as told, happy and feeling well loved.
