Sapphire & Steel.

I've been meaning to talk about it since I watched/listened to it back in...December? Or was it very late November? Either way, it's been too damned long in coming, so here it is. Minor spoilers for a show that's older than I am...

All irregularities will be handled by the forces controlling each dimension. )

S&S, YES!

I do think they confirmed it was the Mary Celeste? But I do not recall. And I'm still not over Tully. I recall shouting at my computer in horror. That was the first time I realized just how far Steel would go.

The animal one is creepy, and probably why I don't like to rewatch that one... except, Silver, so. You know. Can't resist.

The Murder Mystery is my favourite story because it's AGATHA CHRISTIE, IN SPACE TIME but also more. (It also has my favourite of Sapphire's costumes, though I choose to believe her outfit is a VERY dark blue.)

As far as the audios went, Daisy Chain killed me because it was Sapphire who did it. Not Steel, but Sapphire, the nice one, the most human one, the one best at connecting. I think that emphasises what the Elements are, and so of course I love it for how strange and distant they are from humans. I think that is carried and played with very well in the series ( ... )

I think they did confirm it, now that I think about it some more. I remember the boy being all wide-eyed and everything when they mentioned it. They'd needed Lead's help with that one too, I think. But for Tully, I think I might've just cried... Sapphire couldn't even face him.

Sapphire's costume in the Murder Mystery one is my second favourite because it is so pretty too, and yes, I subscribe to it being very freaking dark blue because her wearing any other colour is just weird.

That's why I liked Daisy Chain because it let Sapphire go there (and oh god, the ending with it just cutting off like that. Gives me chills down my spine.)

Agreed about the love for the lesser elements. Ruby...I'm not the biggest fan of either. But mmm, Gold. Mark Gatiss just needs to do more voice work. And I do wish Big Finish could make more, but unfortunately, they're not... (Then again, who knows what the future might bring? After al, they're doing more Gallifrey audios after how many years?)

Yes, I believe they did! And yeah, aww, Tully. Time sucks. I hate it. (Writing the reality section of Sapphire's app was the hardest thing in the world.)

(Yes! It has been a while, but them walking away and everything...)

It makes me sad that they stopped after the third season. (Not that I've ever been able to get my hands on the third season...) I hear there is some sort of resolution to do with Gold in S3, so I really want.

...Oh gosh, I bet that section was hard to write!

(When I first listened to it, I wondered if they would let us hear the family's reaction and I almost wish we didn't, but at the same time I'm glad we did because it's just all the more horrifying.)

Yeah, same here. I wonder why that was. I was looking at the wiki for the audio section and it seems that Nigel Fairs had to write emergency replacement scripts for at least one story each season. And Cruel Immortality was one of those replacements. Maybe he was sick of having to do that? I mean, they stopped doing the Tomorrow People suddenly too. Anyway, there's a story in the third season where Silver and Gold are assigned somewhere and my god I want to hear those two together. Hopefully in one of the next big sales, they'll add the third season of S&S to their list. They don't have the download only option, unfortunately.
