It was certainly difficult to write the kiss this time, what with the lack of touching, so I'm pleased that you thought it was well-done. Also, deductive!House is so much fun.

ETA: I'm glad this fic had nothing to do with the 'Wilson has cancer" plot line DS gave us. I will never forgive him and the other writers for taunting us Hilsons like he did at the end of the series. I hated that arc and the way DS ended it. I know others disagree with me and that's okay, everybody is entitled to his or her opinion. It's nice break to read a fic where Wilson isn't sick and dying.

I really enjoyed writing how competitive they were. I love how House could always get Wilson to go along with his crazy schemes and despite being such a "nice guy" he could be damn manipulative and competitive for House. It's nice to explore the less serious side of Wilson sometimes.
As for the pick-up line, I actually heard it in a movie once a few years ago and pretty much scoffed at how pathetic it was, so it was nice to finally get it out there in some way.

I really enjoy writing kisses myself, so I'm glad to hear that you think I'm good at it. Especially when they kiss for several pages, it takes a lot of concentration to find the right words. And I'm happy to hear that it was IC, because I know I haven't been writing for House for awhile and worried I might be rusty, but I tried very hard to make sure I wasn't.
