This is so much like an episode - or maybe an arc - that's it's uncanny. Great sub-plots, excellent characterization, everything.

Dissonata said that it seemed like a two-parter, lol. I think being told that a fic is just like an episode is the best compliment someone can get--because that's what we're trying to acheive.

I don't know if I've already responded to this but I might have so sorry if if you get two replies from me.

I'm glad you liked the Monet reference becasue I've always enjoyed how House often uses metaphors. It makes things easier to understand medically and talk about emotional things without having to get all . . . emotional.
