they look fab.... as an icon maker can i ask you a question i've been trying to figure out for weeks- how do you do the bg behind the text as in #24 & 25

To create the background for the text, I simply opened a new image that was the size that I wanted the rectangle to be, filled it in with the color I wanted, and then copied and pasted it onto the icon as a new layer, making sure to place it directly beneath the text layer. (I used PSP to do this.) I hope this helps you!
