So this fic is written for the gacktjob_fics  challenge which requires a oneshot fic with the challenge to "Take members of the group outside of their comfort level (abroad) and see how they fare!" Now I have a problem. I took You so out of his comfort zone that this is going to have to be a multichapter fic to get everything I want into it. But i've written chapter one in such a way that it can be read as a stand alone story. Hopefully this is enough to count!

Title: Gackt's biggest secret.
Rating: 12
Band: Gackt Job, Sugizo
Pairing: Gackt X You
Summary: Gackt has always told everything but when You learns his biggest secret yet even he struggles to cope.

You had been Gackt's closest friend for over a decade and would never even consider doing anything to betray the vocalist. He had always laughed at journalists who tried to press him for information, reporting there antics to Gackt as soon as he got. He always worried when Gackt worked too hard and had never once failed to be there when the vocalists needed him most. He never warned Gackt about any pranks been set against him but he did make sure nobody went to extreme as to hurt his friend. No You was a loyal and trustworthy friend and truly deserved his place in Gackt's heart. He thought he knew everything there was to know about the vocalist but he was soon to discover he'd been wrong.

You hadn't meant to over listen to the conversation but he couldn't help but hear Sugizo and Gackt talking in the hall way outside the bedroom where he had slept. Gackt had clearly forgotten he was even hear as he made no effort to keep his voice down, though after the amount he'd drunk the night before You wasn't surprised that Gackt had forgot.

“It's done! I've finally fixed it!” Sugizo bragged his pride clear in his voice.

“And it only took you 25 years.” Gackt remarked less than impressed.

“Well I'm not exactly a mechanic and the parts aren’t easy to find on this primitive planet.” Sugizo complained. “I didn't see you fixing it.”

“I didn't break it.” Gackt retorted. “Besides how could I even help fix it when we weren't even talking?”

“I suppose, let's not argue OK? We're friends again and we can finally go home.” Sugizo replied unwilling to fight with Gackt.

“I'm not sure I want to.” Gackt admitted. “I'd love to see my family again but...”

“Earth has become your home too huh?” Sugizo asked.

“Yeah, humans are interesting and some are so nice. I'm famous here as well. Earth is my home.” Gackt replied firmly and Sugizo nodded in agreement.

“Is this some of role play game?” You asked as he stepped out of the bedroom catching both men off guard.

“You?” Gackt asked shooting Sugizo a warning look. “Why are you here?”

“Because you begged me to stay last night.” You reminded him. “You were drunk.”

“I was drunk.” Gackt agreed.

“So what's all this talk about going home?” You asked.

“Just a game.” Sugizo replied. “You know what I'm like for science fiction.”

“Well can I play?” You asked surprised not to be invited in straight away.

“I don't think so.” Sugizo spoke up after Gackt failed to give You an answer. “It's kind of a two person game.”

“The kind played with lube.” Gackt added with a wink and getting the message You excused himself and left Gackt's home on the quest for breakfast. He was shocked and a little hurt to find Gackt and Sugizo had hooked up as he had always had a crush on the vocalist but he could handle the disappointment. This wasn't the first time Gackt had ignored his affections and it wouldn't be the last.

“Sugi, I want to tell You.” Gackt complained as he stood in Sugizo's secret garage where a battered, but now functional, spaceship had been kept hidden. “He's my best friend and it's not fair for me to leave him like this.”

“But you're not leaving him. We agreed we'd go for two weeks and then come back to earth.” Sugizo reminded him.

“But I can't tell him I'm going away for two weeks without an explanation.” Gackt complained. “He's my best friend. I tell him everything.”

“Except for what you are because that's our secret.” Sugizo reminded Gackt.

“Yes our secret. And I vote I tell You.” Gackt replied determined to let You finally know his biggest secret.

“And if he freaks and tells others?” Sugizo demanded.

“Who would believe him?” Gackt asked. “I'd just laugh it off as yet another rumour spread about me. Cyborg, vampire, alien from outer space, it doesn't matter. The one thing my fans seem to agree on is that I'm not human.”

“You never did manage to entirely fit in.” Sugizo remarked with a bemused smile. “But why is You so important to you?”

“Because I love him.” Gackt admitted. “Which is why I’ve never been able to sleep with him. I can't alter his memories, it wouldn't feel fair.”

“Love is important.” Sugizo reluctantly agreed. “Bring him here then and we'll tell him together. I want to see his reaction before I decide to trust him, besides we need somebody who's mentally capable of altering his mind if things go wrong.”

“They won't go wrong.” Gackt replied firmly, his faith in You so strong that he'd never doubt the guitarists loyalty for a second.

You arrived at Sugizo's home feeling curious. Why had Gackt invited him here to talk? It didn't make sense unless Sugizo was part of the equation. Could it be that Gackt wanted a threesome? Surely not? Why decide that now? Gackt had known You so long that by now if he was going to do that and invite You it would have already happened. Still it must involve Sugizo somehow. Perhaps.... no Gackt would never ask You to leave job in favour of Sugizo but perhaps this was a job opportunity for him?

Ringing the door bell You patiently waited for it to be answered knowing that his curiosity would soon be irrelevant. He would find his answers soon so why worry about it?

Sugizo opened the door but Gackt was waiting just down the hall and it was clear that both men would have been surprised if anybody other than You had been calling at the house. He was invited in and offered a drink which he refused and Gackt quietly led him into the lounge where he sat down with You glancing nervously at Sugizo who was waiting in the door way as if he had nothing better to do though really he was guarding the rooms most obvious exit.

“So You, we've known each other for a long time haven't we?” Gackt began clearly nervous which surprised You as it was rare for Gackt to show any kind of weakness except tears.

“Yeah, close to two decades.” You agreed.

“And you know everything about me?” Gackt asked.

“Unless your hiding something.” You replied.

“That's the thing. I've told you everything but my biggest secret.” Gackt explained. “Which happens to be Sugizo's secret too. We're aliens.”

“You're aliens?” You asked looking between the two men as he waited for a punchline that never came. “Seriously?”

“Yeah seriously.” Gackt explained. “That's what you over heard the other day. You thought we were playing a game and I led you on because I couldn't just tell you. You understand right?”

“I understand but I'm not sure I believe you.” You admitted. “How are you aliens when you look so human?”

“That's the clever part.” Gackt explained. “It's called a perception filter. You see a human because that's what you expect. If I turned it off you'd see the real me.”

“But... where is it?” You asked. “I've never seen anything like that.”

“It's a tiny microchip behind my ear.” Gackt replied reaching up as if to scratch though he must have been pressing the button as the human before You disappeared leaving a creature so clearly alien that You had to remind himself that it was Gackt. Black skinned but similar to a human in appearance except for the tail and extra fingers on each hand. The face was different too with big blue almond shaped eyes. It was Gackt and it was also alien and You wasn't entirely sure how to react. Glancing at Sugizo he was offered a sympathetic smile before he too reached behind his ear and became a creature similar to Gackt but easily distinguishable.

“Do you believe us yet?” Gackt asked seeing that You wanted to run but proud of him for not doing so.

“It's just a lot to take in.” You admitted. “Please... if you don't mind can't you still look human?”

“For now.” Gackt agreed putting the filter back on so he could sit beside his friend in the disguise he'd been wearing so long. “But it means a lot to me that you can accept what I am You.”

“Gackt, give him time.” Sugizo scolded back in his human form too.

“Sugizo I’ve changed my mind about that drink.” You spoke up. “I want something strong, preferably a pint.”

“I'll go get you some whiskey.” Sugizo replied leaving the room relieved that You hadn't run away.

“Here's the thing.” Gackt explained. “We've been trapped here for twenty five years and it's only now the space ship has been fixed but the communication system is still out of order. We need to go back to our planet so our families know what happened but earth is our home now. We have no plans to stay on our planet. We're treating it like a bit of a holiday but I didn't want to disappear on you. I hated keeping this secret and I suppose recent events have shown me how much.”

“Gackt it's OK. You're my best friend.” You replied. “I can cope with anything you throw at me, just give me time.”

“We're going to leave tomorrow. If you want you can come with us?” Gackt offered as Sugizo returned with a glass and a bottle of Jack Daniels. They hadn't discussed this part but Sugizo didn't protest, simply handed the drink to You who gladly helped himself needing to calm his nerves.

“What do you eat?” You asked as he began to pour himself some more.

“Food, like meat and vegetables. We don't handle carbohydrates very well but we can eat them too.” Gackt replied. “You've seen me eat.”

“If desperate we can drink blood like a vampire but we wanted to fit in so we haven't done that for awhile.” Sugizo explained aware that Gackt was sparing his friend but knowing the more You was told now the less chance he's freak out in the future. “In fact we kind of need a bit off blood in our diets but enough meat solves that problem.”

“OK. And you don't conduct experiments on humans?” You asked. “Or abduct them for sick sex games?”

“We study humans.” Gackt explained. “Mainly through observations. Sugizo was the pilot and I'm a extraterrestrial biologist. Or we were. I'm a rock star now.”

“Pop star.” Sugizo corrected.

“Rock star.” Gackt firmly repeated giving Sugizo a glare. “Look, everything you know about me is true. I'm not dangerous to you in any way. I'm your best friend. I thought you were mine!”

“I am!” You exclaimed. “How can you doubt that?”

“So you're coming with us?” Gackt asked hopefully.

“I'll come.” You agreed. “How could I say no to a holiday with my best friend?”

The next day You's resolve was like steel and he had got over a lot of his initial shock. Almost entirely back to his normal self he helped Gackt fill the ships kitchens with a variety of tinned and frozen foods and bring on other supplies such as clothes and tooth paste. When fully prepared he followed Gackt to the bridge where Sugizo was in the pilots seat carefully checking over all the controls.

“How long will the journey take?” You asked as he selected a seat and did up the seat belt.

“Two days but once we're out of the solar system I’ll put the ship on autopilot for most of the journey.” Sugizo explained.

“That's not too long.” You agreed gently resting his hand over Gackt's when the vocalist had settled into the seat beside him. He wanted Gackt to know that he could handle him being an alien though the vocalist still wore his human disguise. Sugizo had given up his the second he was on the ship and You found he could handle it just fine though it was strange to be so close to a real alien.

“So what is this? A close encounter of the twelve kind?” You joked.

“I don't know.” Gackt admitted. “I know third is seeing an alien but after that I have no clue.”

“Fourth is being on the ship.” Sugizo stated clearly an expect on such things. “Fifth is touching an alien, like you are now. Sixth is if the alien causes death to a human or an animal in there association. Seventh is having an alien baby.”

“Wait? So to get to 7 you have to be killed first?” You demanded.

“Or your dog or something. It doesn't make much sense and only the first three are officially classifications.” Sugizo explained. “I watch a lot of sci-fi” he added in answer to the look Gackt threw him.

“Perhaps sixth should be sex with the alien?” You joked. “Seeing as fifth is touching one and seventh is having there babies.”

“Perhaps it should.” Sugizo agreed. “I know an alien who'd like to get to sixth with you.”

“What?” You demanded for a second thinking Sugizo meant himself before following his gaze to Gackt. “Perhaps later.” he added with a wink before turning back to a smiling Sugizo who began the process of powering up the engines for orbit. You could tell without looking that Gackt was in shock at his confession but it was true. He still wanted Gackt inside him, making him cum and even his confession hadn't calmed this desire.

As soon as it was safe to wander around the ship Sugizo made his excuses and disappeared to his room though it was clear that he was only giving them some time alone together. Nervous silence filled the room as neither man or alien knew how to react.

“I've had a thing for you since we first met.” You admitted. “It turned to love around the time I knew for sure I was gay but you've always slept around and I didn't want to get hurt so I kept quiet. That's my secret seeing as we're sharing.”

“I love you too.” Gackt admitted. “But when I have sex, it's clear I'm not human and so I have to alter my partners memories. I couldn't do that to you.”

“Why do you need to do that?” You asked but Gackt only sighed.

“Perhaps one day you'll see for yourself.” Gackt explained. “But until then let's leave it OK. I want you to get used to me being an alien first.”

“It won't be long.” You promised. “But tell me Mr. Alien biologist. When you study humans does any form of anal probing happen?”

“No. I've told you, I merely watch and make notes.” Gackt explained but You only smiled.

“Can it happen?” You tried again with a dirty smirk on his lips.

“Perhaps it can.” Gackt agreed catching on. “I do have two days too kill and I want to use them to really get to know you.”

“I though as much” You agreed happily. It was strange to be so out of his comfort zone but at the same time, as long as Gackt was with him, it was exactly what he had always known.
