As soon as you described the being invading Hiyuu's dreams as short, I thought "PLEASE LET IT BE HYDE!" And it was! ^_^ With Gackt thrown in as the perfect bonus! He must be pretty powerful if he's figured out how to kill a deity and steal its form. I can't wait to see how they manage to cure the pair before it's too late.

(And is that hints of Ichiro/Satoshi I see, or am I imagining things?)

I was avoiding bands I love for some reason in this fic. Then I was like "what am I doing?" this is my fic, if I want Gackt and Hyde why can't I have them? So I wrote them as the final villains of this arc. Hyde wasn't the best for a nephillim, being short and all when they're supposed to be giants, but those tattoo's of his and his personality demanded angel or nephillim.

Glad you enjoyed my character choice. XD

As for Ichiro/Satoshi, you'll just have to wait and see.

Poor Haido-chan, so short! (He's my height, so I'm allowed to say that!) Even if they're meant to be tall, I think he fits as a nephilim perfectly.

Well in a lot of popular literature they're just the children of fallen angels, or in the case of Shadow Hunters, angels.

I read one book series, the one that introduced me to them, where the nephillim had to encourage people to commit the sins of their father's who represented the 7 deadly sins and a few extras (stealing for instance). That was an interesting read. They were normal humans, just with a heightened sensors. So how I wrote Hyde wouldn't be unusual in the terms of supernatural fics, just goes against the bible passages. (Just wait to Arc 3 Chapter 1. Christians are going to hate me for that!)

I remember when I used to be so into this pairing. Ichiro's right, it's beautiful how they're still madly in love with each other even when cursed. Though ouch carving symbols into Hiyuu's skin to weaken him! I knew they were invading Hiyuu's mind and his memories to get to Yuuki somehow.

It'll be interesting to see how he gets out of this one. At least he has the support of his friends
