Bahrain 08 - A day late and a dollar short...

Apr 07, 2008 18:44

I was soooooooooooooo tired yesterday. Luckily, I managed to stay awake for the race mainly because of all the people texting me when Lewis-twat kept making mistakes (which was a lot - lol!)

These were my hightlights:

1. Nico bringing his packed lunch to the grid so he could finish his sandwiches before getting in the car (and talking to Martin ( Read more... )

Oh God!! It keeps getting worse by the moment :P

And for once I know what you are talking about, I watched some of the race before I left!

Hiya,

When did you surface on the Sunday? I had a feeling it wasn't early *g*

Mosely is now a dead duck and if he doesn't resign, he's going to be kicked out. He should spare himself the embarrassment and do the right thing. What!! You watched a part of the race!!! My plan to convert my friends, one at a time, is working *evol laugh*

I laughed so hard when Lewis frakked up. Absolute genius! I too hated how the commentators summarily judged and executed Alonso for Hamilton's mistake, it's just getting ridiculous at this point. And, "arch enemy"? What is this, a Batman cartoon?! Pull it together, guys!

Heikki taking the top McLaren spot was pure genius. I am so in love with him it hurts sometimes.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Did you see the interview Steve Rider had with Heikki at the end of the Australian GP? It was at the end of the live programme (they didn't repeat it on the lunchtime replay) just as the show finished. He was so funny and so adorable I was also wibbling like a wibbling thing. I hope he keeps beating twat face for the rest of the season.

Also, I read an interview today with Martin Whitmarsh where he said the Fernando/Lewis accident was all Lewis' cars fault. Seems something on the front of the car broke micro-seconds before the incident and was actually the reason Hamilton went into the back of Fernando. I hope ITV apologise to Nando for wrongly accusing him of dark deeds (unlikely).

Of course I saw the Heikki interview, I was still wired from being up all night waiting for the GP! He's an adorable little fella, I love him so! Hey, maybe we can double date back in Finland?

So no-one really was to blame for Lewis' cock-up? Genius. I sincerely hope something is mentioned in three weeks, but you're probably right, they won't because it would mean admitting Lewis isn't infallible (and that Fernando isn't the Super-Devil).

Sounds like we all enjoyed the GP allround then ;D

I laughed sosososo hard when I saw the Twat go backwards off the start line - also I hear now that McLaren are saying there was slight damage on the front wing before he came anywhere near Nano - excuses excuses! (Plus, you know who he HAD to hit, right? Finally, M has luck!)

*wearily* Mosley's at it again?! My god, get the not-very-subtle hint already, man!

I kind of enjoyed it but the last half was a bit dull.

Yeah, flippin' go already Mosley, you're time is up.

The circuit at Bahrain is too fast to be conducive to really good racing beyond the opening laps. High-speed chess, my dad calls it.

The only problem is, who would take his place? If we're not careful we might end up with someone like Flavio 0_o

You know, if the implications behind the Mad Max affair- racism, anti-semitism weren't so serious- this would be a far better comedy than anything that's been on TV for ages. You couldn't make this up!

As long as he goes, I will find the whole thing amusing. Butif he manages to cling on to the presidency, it will turn the whole FIA into an even bigger farce than it already is. As one of the editorials on the websites said, if Mosley survives this, then he will be even more manic in his decisions and attacks in future as he'll be almost unassailable *worries for Ron*

I just can't see how he can keep going. Even Bernie's stopped defending him now.
