That's wonderful! Beautiful composition, the way the space is divided into Golden Mean sections. I love how the musicians' hands are sort of clustered at the visual center, and I love the expression on the face of the guy playing the tiny violin-like instrument. I feel like the woman is about to start singing some sad, slow song in the "El Condor Pasa" style.

and yes, he has painted me! a portrait in my graduation gown from grammer school. um. i'll see if he has it out. if not, i know he took a picture and i can always scan that.
