i have no idea why i am a bit obsessed with lush. i love a couple of their products, but so far, i haven't really liked the other samples i have tried. i did like the bath bomb that lunda gave me. the wonderfully awesome thing is that they will give you a sample of pretty much any product in the store. the other cool thing is that there are parties

i just truly "discovered" it during my trip to san francisco for the browncoat ball. i had heard about lush before, but had never actually been in a store. the lush store was near the hotel i was staying at and i checked it out and bought a couple of things.

then when i got back to chicago, i checked and there are 3 stores in the area! i have been to one party and plan on going to the grand opening of the newest store on the 15th. i'm gonna get a bunch more samples!

i'll check out the stuff you mentioned, and i'm sorry that your favorites got discontinued...

it's actually already open, they are just having a grand opening celebration. it's at marshal field's (or macy's as it's now known) on state street and it will be on the 15th. i can forward you the email... you should join the mailing list at the lush website. also you should join the forum 'cause sometimes they have special lush parties for forumites only. and lastly, you should check the calendar at the lush site for local parties to rsvp 'cause they give out goodie bags!!

I am in love with their lemon/sand soap (forget the name) and their Honey I Washed the Kids soap.

Also love love love their avacado bath bomb, and the one that I think is called the Happy Pill (big, yellow and orange pill-shaped bath bomb). Ohhhh their bath bombs, happy happy joy joy, I always take a sackful with me to Florida when I visit the parents, cuz my mom has a huge tub and they're perfect in there.

Oddly enough, I discovered Lush when I was in Zurich last year, and then found out they were in Chicago. Woot. :)
