Most certainly. I haven't gotten into a series this badly since my Star Wars days, which was far too long ago. It's good and bad at the same time, and I just can't stop reading it.

Now that Ace's death is official official, I feel like I have a lot to say on it if I could just get my meta!brain to kick into gear. I'm wondering how much longer Oda is going to keep us away from the rest of the Straw Hats and also just how much the storyline in the future will incorporate the threads of Dragon and the remaining emperors into it as well. I feel like there may be an all out war coming by the end of the grand scheme of things but then again, it's Oda, so one never knows.

Gah, I know. I'm aching to find out how the others are doing, and how they'll react to the news and to each other once they can get back together. There's no question about it, all of them are going to have to grow up pretty quickly in the coming chapters. My gut screams war as well, but... as you say, it's Oda. It's always up in the air until we practically see what's happening.

I'm right with you, I'm not sure exactly how I feel about what's happened or where it's going - I think it's impossible to tell for sure until the fallout starts to become clear - but I do know he's got me hook line and sinker.

The fallout... oh hell. It's going to be epic, that's all I can figure. The whole balance of power has been shaken up, cut to bits, and thrown totally out of whack. I don't expect anyone in this world to have much peace until after a climax is reached. I know I sure won't.
