Go Bill O'Reilly. This is a recent clip where the commentator grilled a conservative laywer on the reasoning behind his opposition to same-sex marriage, and, well... the guy couldn't come up with a solid answer.
I never thought I'd be saying "Go Bill O'Reilly," but....go Bill O'Reilly. Makes you believe that maybe some of those stories about Republicans who oppose gay marriage in public and support it in private are true, ne?
Normally he wouldn't be one I'd cheer for either, but I suppose even he can surprise us once in a while. And I think the point that you brought up about Republicans has some merit... It's amazing sometimes how much people will defend something to save face in public while supporting it behind closed doors.
