Whew, finally, I've gotten a chance to report on my experiences at this year's Yuricon on Saturday. Cut for sheer length, as well as a tiny NWS bit of a doujinshi cover.

You got to see Takashima Rica?! I LOVE her work so much!!! And Brian and I have Run and Candy Orange so I must agree that both are good doujinshi. It sounds lovely and I swear that SOME DAY I will make it to Yuricon.

That comment about the One Piece fandom during the fanfic panel makes me happy too.

Yes, I did! She was a real sweetie... I'd actually not really known about her work until this event (since I'm still a newbie to a lot of the yuri stuff, still), but thankfully now that's changed. :) Someday, somehow, you guys will get there, I'm sure.

Now all we need is more One Piece yuri, and we'll really be doing great. XD

Sounds like an interesting experience. I wish I could go there. ^^

Those doujinshi look amazing. Especially Koku-san to Asobo. I mean, it just ... intrigues me. XD

Hahaha, that's what everybody's saying. I think I might just have to scan that now... Everyone should get to see the wonder of it, haha.

Geez, I wish I had the money to come with you. XD It looks like it was a LOT of fun. I like the smaller, quaint cons. They may lack a little in the dealer's room, but they are so much more peaceful and you can really enjoy your surroundings.

*clings* I wish you had, too. It would have been nice to have a con buddy... But it was still fun. There was definitely a lot more peacefulness than at other cons we've been to... It was nothing like the complete and utter chaos of Otakon. I could walk around and chat with venders and artists and staff, and even the guests, and it wasn't a mad rush to events and stuff. I much preferred things this way. :)

YES. Sanji with tits FTW. I'm not sure how in hell it happened to him, but it's certainly strange and freakishly appealing, haha.
