I get teary even thinking of a George/Mitchell showdown. This is gonna be so good. I will need counseling after the episode though :'( Thanks for sharing... and silver lining - possible season 4 yay!
no worries and yeah, we really need a support group or something set-up on here.
Like a post post-episode discussion thread...just for when we've run out of energy to comment and all we can do is sob.
Honestly it's less the episode that's making me anxious but the thought there won't be any previews or spoilers to look forward to after Sunday *starts rocking*
Post - post episode discussion sounds like a plan. I'm in Australia and I don't want to watch the finale on the livestream cause if there's lag and cutouts that will spoil it so I'm gonna stay strong and wait for the download. Hopefully some people will still be around later on to talk me off the ledge hee.
I just hope we get word of a new series and news of AT returning somehow for at least part of it.
No worries, I actually have nothing else to do during the day so I usually end up refreshing spoiler sites until they bring me something good *grin* lord knows what I'll do when there are no more spoilers to be had
I love how he clarified "emotional showdown". I was hoping it wouldn't get physical, although that might be what it's verging on as shown by the promo.
I think it'll have an essence of physical but I just have this niggling feeling that George vs Mitchell won't actually happen, at least not in the sense of someone dying.
And lordy, listening to the soundtrack I'm pretty much sobbing, hate to think what this new piece will do to me *snort*
It does doesn't it? I may have to do a S1&S2 rewatch just so I can match up the scores with the moments. I know some have been used in various episodes but obviously they have their defining episodes. I adore A Wonderful Thing, as usual, but Second Chance and Someone Else are just obsessively good. Gilbert's door, Nina and George...ahh, too many!
But it's only S1 & S2 unfortunately so we'll have to wait for the theme of awesome. I'm guessing Wells will see if there's a S4 and release them both together like he did for S1 and S2.
From the snippets I've heard, there's something so beautiful and haunting about the music. A Wonderful Thing and Being Human is just perfection.
And boo on the reunion music not being there! I can't wait for the next soundtrack then (hopefully with the "Mitchell running through the hospital" and "Mitchell running from/surrendering to the cops" music).
. I had to create the score for an emotional showdown between the two lead guys, who’ve never really talked about emotions with each other before. It’s in Episode 8 so I can’t really say any more about it.

And I hope the song that played during the hallway run in the premiere is there.
