Why I shouldn't sign birthday cards after eating smarties:

Have a crazy (but in a safe way) birthday! I mean be safe. Not have it in a safeway. Though that would be crazy.

Other news!  Things I saw that creeped me out today:

40 something woman with the exact same hair/makeup as her 16 year old daughter.  Get it together, lady, you're old enough

The 13,000th word in my fic that is gradually becoming a novella: Effortless. Which I mention because it is anything but.

This is my favorite part of this entry. Second only to your reasoning behind not signing birthday cards after eating smarties XD

Also, if adding 'start today' fits better than 'out of step', I'd say do it! Who cares if you're mixing hardcore? It's your ink, and your body, and it's meaningful to you!

It's so weird how something that starts out so fun and totally just as a nice thing to do eventually turns into like, this epic work of just . . . solid work that I enjoy, but also, like, freak out over a lot, because what if I finish and it turns out it sucks?

Those things creep me out, too! Especially the mother mimicking her duaghter's makeup and dress.

Usually the thing one puts the most effort into others see as effortless.

It's very, very creepy to see. Either the daughter looks too old, or the mom looks too young, and neither one is good.

I guess that's some of the magic in art? to take something that's so labor intensive and difficult, and make it look easy?
