Reflection and test run
So it's a long weekend and a busy one. Dinner with family tonight, bachelor party tomorrow and possibly a cook out on Monday. My only complaint is that Joyce is out of town and that I don't have any leave saved up for use later. Thing is, the lack of saved leave doesn't bother me like it would have when I was at GRB. Star Trek
So I saw Star Trek last Sunday. The movie's a hell of a lot of fun, exclusing at least one major plot hole that my ever-observant girlfriend pointed out to me afterward. And for the record, I've only seen 2 or 3 episodes of the original series; I've always preferred Next Generation ( Read more... ) -

This week
This week looks like it's going to be a roller coaster.
1 - My Uncle Paul is in the hospital.
2 - 3 day work week for me, which means it'll be jam-packed with things to do before I'm off Thursday and Friday.
3 - Phil and Jae's wedding on Saturday.
4 - Other stuff I'm not going to discuss yet. -

So that's weird. One of my user pics changed from Bob the Skull to something very...well, I don't know what it was. Hopefully just a glitch in LJ's database, but it's still disconcerting.
I think it's time to change the password. -
Ohgod
I just finished watching the first episode of Leverage. I think I've found a TV show I can actually get into. And, hey, Timothy Hutton's always a bonus.
There was already a cameo by one other Nero Wolfe actor, the guy who played Lon Cohen. I'm wondering if they're going to pick up others here and there as the show goes on. -

Thank god this stuff's relatively obscure. Otherwise I'd be looking at 4 years of getting crap. Of course, that'd only give me an excuse to set them on fire, so I guess it'd balance out.
