OMG! I saw this this morning and am just now stealing a moment to comment. You wrote me my swap fic!!!! Yippee, I'm so freaking happy. And it's a long one...and angsty. Damn, I can't wait to read it. I'm sooo backed up (holidays, houseguests who won't leave and sap all my time, and I'm not done with my own vamidays fic because I suck) but you can bet I'm gonna be fitting this good read in ASAP. I finally got my fic up, yippee!!! I read these on my phone and LOVED them but I'm unable to articulate properly when typing on a small keyboard with my thumbs so I had to wait to leave a proper comment.

Thank you soooo much. I love this fic. Let me be more specific about some of the finer points of my emotion, shall I?

Your "the beginning" into is brilliant. It's dramatic and poetic and sets a nice stage for the story to come. Beautiful!

“I’d prefer old age myself.” The man lifted his head and Bam saw a smirk flitter across his face.
“Liar.” The word hung between them, “You look far too proud to suffer the indignity of old age.” Bam felt a smile pulling at the corner of his lips as he shrugged. This is brilliant. It's very real. Not only does it create an instant connection because of the feeling it gives to the reader that the characters know each other even as they are strangers, but it sparks interest. Suddenly Ville transforms from some melancholic artist contemplating life and death to a character with depth, observant and ( ... )
