OK. I have sent an email to the DFDF hotel to book a twin room for me and a sharer, and I am awaiting the hotel's confirmation. I have booked my travel to Germany.

DFDF here I come! Hopefully....

I got response email from the hotel with my confirmation, but it looks that they then want me to fax that confirmation back to them? Is that what they really mean?

"Please send this confirmation back as soon as possible to the fax number ..."

Yeah, that`s what they want. You can send it via snail mail, too.

I think I've been talked into going now! ... So I'll have to sort out hotel, travel and pay for membership ... any hints/tips? :-)

As grey_lady says, if you have not booked a hotel room, do it NOW!

The hotel is called the Relexa, its telephone number is +49(0)5063-29-0. Or you can email them at BadSalzdetfurth@relexa-hotel.de. Twin rooms are 81 Euros per room per night. Single rooms are 69 Euros per room per night. I assume that since the prices are per room, you can make the reservation and sort out a roomshare afterwards.

After today (18 March) any unbooked rooms will become available to mundanes...
