This was a beautiful post - I so enjoy all your work from peak oil to sustainability and everything in between. I too believe in God but I think a certain group has twisted it and distorted it into making people deny the reality they're in. God gave us so much - and here we've squandered so much of it in very short order. There's no magic wand to put all the oil back we've used nor deal with the fact that our population is unsustainable. Well -presently I can't write what I really want to - but I look forward to more of your contemplative thoughtful essays.
