You might get a bit of headway on your money musings by reading "Web of Debt" by Ellen H. Brown. She's carefully researched and documented monetary systems and has shown that there are monetary systems that can do what you are seeking. In fact Lincoln's "Greenbacks" were just such a monetary system ( ... )

Yes, I've read Ellen's book and she spoke at a conference I hosted last year in Michigan. She has a very good grasp of many of the aspects of what is going on with money. You are certainly correct that the current monetary system we are using is unstable, and for more than the reasons Ellen mentions in her book ( ... )
